How
Often?
I do
like your set up, but there's no mention made of how often you publish.
The last entry shows July 16th, it would be beneficial to your readers
to know when a new issue is scheduled.
Your
endeavor helps us to plan when to visit Bisbee so we may enjoy things
appealing to us.
Please
keep up the good work

Congratulations
Just
a short note to express my congratulations on a superior job of
covering Bisbee news! I wish continued success and I am also happy
to see Dick Bakken as a contributor to your writing staff.
Sincerely,

Where's
Woodstock
I am
not personally from your town but I met Grandpa Woodstock a week
or so ago at the Rainbow Gathering, and let me tell you he has to
be the sweetest man I've ever met. No matter what he almost always
has a positive attitude and he's an idol to most hippies because
hes out there spreading the word of peace and love.
Sincerely,
Amber Hope

Kudos
As
someone who has a second home in Bisbee only because we can't yet
be there full time, your site is a lifeline to the spirit of the
town. Your columnists are just GREAT, but I think this issue's column
by Dan Beauchamp (Only Don't Know) is the best he has written yet.
I loved it, and I love your 'zine.

Enjoyed
"Out of the Box" and will try to put it to good use.
Attached
is a bit of Haiku feedback from Jaxon Teck, formerly of The
First National Braintrust.
Personally,
I think the results would be more interesting if none of the
random words were allowed to be included, just use the words to
help
think of your own ideas. If one set of words doesn't trigger an
extraordinary idea, try a few more.

Decent
article, Miles! I speak of Bisbee to
others with wonder, now and then. *The American
Shangrala* That is what I call it. I will
return at the first opportunity.
.
Haiku INITIATED by one random word would really
exercise the mind. Haiku Society NEW RULES:
.
Usually about something you experienced in
nature, perhaps in your imagination in the case
of a random word. Make up a scene or situation.
.
5-7-5 is no longer rigid in American English
.
17 or less syllables is still best
.
start with a short line
have a longer middle line
end with a short line
.
no CAP letters except names
usually no punctuation
.
all night
searching for just the right song
the mockingbird
.
winning our race
to the tree
the squirrel drops his nut
.
Let the story emerge. Sometimes the cadence
helps the scene, like the squirrel haiku.

The Rep
Hi!
Just letting you know the Bisbee Repertory Theatre is open again!
Yay! The play Feathers is opening Labor Day weekend. Go check out
the sign! The theatre is generally open from 10-4 Tues-Fri and closed
on Mondays. Rod (Hutchinson?) is running it now. Yay Rod!
